Freedom is an unofficial fanzine dedicated to the Anemo Characters of Genshin Impact.This project will be both a digital and physical product!
We plan to showcase each of the Anemo characters in one way or another! We know that some characters may be a bit more popular than others, but we will aim for as diverse a spread in characters as possible.This is a for-charity zine
Our chosen charity is AbleGamers!We plan to accept 20-25 page artists, 1-2 sketch artists, 8-10 writers, and 4-5 merch artists. We are also open to Cosplayers and Musicians!Numbers are subject to change depending upon applications

As a reminder, our zine is SFW, so please keep samples SFW as well!We ask that you list your top 5 Anemo characters that you would be interested in making a piece for. We will be pushing to include as much character diversity as possible. Enemies units are welcome!Artists:
We ask for three samples of your best work. Though not required, we do recommend one Genshin Impact sample. It is also recommended that at least one of your pieces have a full background or, at the very least, a simple design.
We ask you to provide us with a portfolio. This can be a website, an art twitter, an Instagram, or even a Google Drive link. If using a Drive link, please be sure it is set to viewable
There will be a section for you to list any potential ideas you may have for the zine. If selected, each contributor must fill out a "Pitch Form" where they can list their pitch ideas that will be approved by the mods.
Art pieces do not have to be fully colored / rendered if you are applying for sketches or grayscale! Sketches and grayscale, although not required, are asked to send a sample with a background or simple design.
Traditional art will be accepted in this project. Please be sure that you submit a high-resolution image for your pieces/samples.
We plan to allow for comics! B & W or color is fine! Comics will get a maximum of 4 pages.Merch Artists:

Excerpts from longer fics are allowed, but at least one piece needs to be a completed work. Remember to tag any warnings you have in your fic since this will be a sfw project. If applying as a poet, two of your samples are highly recommended to be poetry, one is required!

What is a fanzine?
A zine is a collection of fanworks, typically containing art and writing. These fanworks are self published into both physical booklets and digital pdfs. Zines typically are created within fandom spaces, by fans for fansWhat is a pitch?
A pitch is an overall idea for your piece! This term is often taken from Cinema where one would "pitch" the idea of their film or television series to a director. This is often a verbal or visual explanation of their idea! Similar to that notion, a pitch is just an idea that you have for this zine should you be accepted! They can be as detailed or as vague as you would like them to be!Is this a charity or for-profit zine?
This project will be a charity zine. Our chosen charity is AbleGamers!Will the Anemo!Travler be included in this zine?

Absolutely!!Will you accept Grayscale or Sketches for artists? How about traditional artists?
Yes! Grayscale and Traditional Artists are welcome! Sketch artists as well! Our Sketch artists will be working along side layout to help fill up any potential empty space we may have in the zine!Will Cosplayers and Musicians be featured in this zine?

Contributors and Mods are anticipated to receive a physical zine for being a part of this zine! At the very least, everyone will receive the digital pdf.Will you be accepting other mods for this project?
All mods have been acquired!Are Mods allowed to participate in the zine, or will they have to apply like a contributor?
Mods will be allowed to participate in this zine if they so wish to! Mods will not have to apply in order to partake in the zine!If accepted for a mod position or a contributor position, will there be a place we can communicate?
Yes, all communication will be run through a discord server. You will be required to be a part of the server, so we recommend you be ready to create an account if you do not already have one!Can other characters be featured in this zine as well?
Yes, but we do ask that at least one Anemo user be featured in the piece.I ship x and y together. Does this mean I will be disqualified from this zine?
No, not necessarily! You're free to ship / draw / write most any ship outside of this zine. Our Mods will be required to hold no strong bias against ships. The one exception is that we do not allow for any child x adult ships, or child x child ships in this zine. This zine will not feature any ship content with Sayu.Is there an age requirement to apply?
All applicants must be at least 16 years of age to apply. If applying for the Finance Mod, applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.Can NPCs / Enemies such as Abyss Mages / Treasure Hoarders who use Ameno be featured in this zine as well?
We plan to showcase anyone who utilizes Anemo in this zine - NPCs and Enemies included!
